Throughout the GlobalGiving website, you'll find easy-to-use tools to help you promote your projects. Promoting your projects is key to getting the word out to constituents and supporters, who in turn forward that information to their respective networks. We strongly encourage you to use these tools.
Also, take a look at your project if it isn't doing well. Is there a more compelling way to present it? Review the tips for crafting your project; have you kept these ideas in mind when you prepared your project for presentation? Donors like to contribute to projects that are receiving funding, so use the tools and think how you can improve your project presentation.
Spread the word
You're part of the GlobalGiving community! You'll want to forward your project page from the GlobalGiving website — or copy and paste the URL for your project page into your own marketing materials such as newsletters, emails, and other communications. This is one way of letting people within your network know that they can donate to your work through GlobalGiving.
Feature your project on your own website
Just click "Promote This Project," which is at the top of each project page. This page provides HTML code that you can take and post on your own website, so your supporters can give directly to the project from your website.
Your project's funding total will automatically update on www.globalgiving.com to reflect any funding that comes from your site. To do this, copy the HTML code that is provided and paste it in the appropriate spot on your web page.
